Daniel Urschel, MD is a pediatric allergist and immunologist at Dayton Children's Hospital. Dr. Urschel graduated college from Kent State University.

He completed his medical school education at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in Rootstown, Ohio. He spent his pediatric residency at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine. After residency, Dr. Urschel spent nearly a decade in the Greater Dayton area as a pediatrician with the United States Air Force and a private civilian practice.  In 2019, Dr. Urschel left his pediatric practice to complete an allergy and immunology fellowship at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida. Upon completion of the fellowship, Dr. Urschel joined the allergy and immunology practice at Dayton Children's Hospital. Outside of work, Dr. Urschel enjoys sports, outdoors, and spending time with his wife and four children.
